Before we can prepare this page for the 2026 general election, we first need to get results from the primary election so we know who’s running! Primary voting closes on August 4th, results are reached on August 18th and certified by August 21st. Come back after that!
Registering to vote #
You’ll need to be registered to receive your ballot. You can register online or by mail by October 26th, or you can register in person by November 3rd, the final day of voting. If you’re not sure if you’re registered, you can register again.
You can check your registration status using King County’s Elections site.
You must be a United States citizen and reside in the state of Washington to register to vote. To register online, you also need a state identification card.
Races #
These are some of the races you’ll be voting on. A few of the primary races are between two candidates, so we know who will advance, but to avoid getting ahead of endorsements, we’ll only start to fill this table out once we know who’s in every race and some general endorsements have been published.
There will be some more lower court judicial races for you to vote on as well.
